Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest of the children of singer Dionne Warswick as well as gospel singer Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew as a child in a household of musicians. Its Whitney 1987 album, with the songs Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as popular songs, was a way to build on the success she had achieved. But the 1992 film The Bodyguard sealed her spot in the top 20 most-sellers ever. The Bodyguard's performance as a film and its soundtrack were not popular, the Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You as well as the album accompanying it were top of the charts all over the world for months. The same year, she was married ex-New Edition singer Bobby Brown with whom she was the sole parent of their child Bobbi Kristina Brown in March 1993. At this point her use of drugs became well documented and she was able to use it regularly until 1996.
